Phew! It has been awhile since I've last updated deviantart, hasn't it?
....y'know, for the 4 of you that'll read this. Ah, well.
Anyway, I've almost finished with a big project I've been tooling with for the last month or more. I've been writing again, but this time I've actually written something I'm at least happy with, and once it's complete I want to submit it to an editor and then a publishing agent. But, first, I'd like to put the opening of it (once it's done) on here and get a consensus/reaction from at least a few folks has to how it's coming along. Please, PLEASE brutally honest with me. Anywhoo, it's a horror story, st in a small town, and centers around a young thirty something named Jennah coming home after the death of her mother and having to come into conflict with her estranged father. Also, the town has a old secret and some supernatural shenanigans abound.
On another note, my weight loss is coming along smoothly. In the last 5 months I've shed 50 pounds. Admittedly that still puts my fat ass at around 220 something, but hey, progress is progress. At least that's what I keep telling myself. I hope to be down to 190 by September. My overall goal, however, is to be down to a Large or (at most) 1X shirt size. I've got a bit of big change planned, appearance wise, and I need to be down to that size range to do it.
Oh, and, on yet another note, I will sadly not being going to this years No Brand Con. I lack the funds, thanks to both debt and my plans to return to college to finish my degree. So, yeah, for the first time in six years, I'm not going to the best anime/nerd convention in my home state. Sad day

I can finally write again! Months of writers block and the words are flowing again. Also, I'm once again working on drafts for my short movie (YAY!). Everything's coming together at last. I'm almost looking forward to that Highlander II review I'm going to do. Oh, wait no I'm not.And I may even be posting some new things here as well. If all goes smoothly, both my youtube and deviantart pages should be seeing some new work.
All that plus I finally own all of Twin Peaks, the best tv show ever. Life can be awesome some times.

Oh, man it feels good to be free! two years of college down, 2 (or three) to go. Wow...
Well how bout an update beyond finals?
I'm already working on my Daisho/No brand costume: Kick-Ass. I'll be doing the comic version, because the mouth hole in the film version looks, well, stupid. I understand why they did it, but still: looks stupid.
I'm starting a weight loss regiment this summer. I hope to be slim(mer) by the time Daisho role around in November. Muscles? Nah. Losing the chub? Yeah.
I'm going to writing more and working more on my youtube videos (my channel: www.youtube.com/user/lycanfan). I also hope to actually get something (hopefully a short story) published and I really want to start working on one of my movie ideas.
Well, that pretty much it for me. No more finals, new costume, slimming down, writing more and filming. Damn it, so much for a relaxing summer.
